OUR MISSION

Designed for our Nation’s Future

We’re building a network designed and inspired by collaborating with Australians on what they really need. By working with hand-in-hand with local governments and communities, we have designed a national fibre backhaul network, the way it was meant to be – by Australians, for Australians.

Our mission

Designed for our Nation’s Future

We’re building a network designed and inspired by talking to everyday australians, and asking them what they want. By working with regional councils, we can finally design a national backhaul network, the way it was meant to be..

Creating jobs and supporting our economy

This 20,000km+ fibre network will generate more than 10,000 jobs during construction and enable tens of thousands more jobs in future industries. HyperOne unlocks significant opportunities for investment in regional and remote communities that have historically lacked access to world-class digital infrastructure.

Helping drive and launch new industries

HyperOne delivers a new hyperscale national fibre backbone that will significantly boost Australia’s capacity to enable digital transformation and support the growth of future industries and innovations. These include aerospace, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), cloud, satellite, defence, resources, agriculture and renewable energy.

Leaving a carbon neutral footprint

HyperOne is committed to delivering a carbon-neutral hyperscale network. We intend to achieve this by utilising a variety of clean energy technologies (ie. solar and wind), renewable infrastructure and carbon offset initiatives, as well as prioritising local suppliers, materials and workers to deliver the project which will reduce our environmental impact through freight.

Once HyperOne is built and operational, renewable energy will also be one of many industries to benefit from the network’s increased capacity, speed and modern connectivity capabilities.

Bringing regional communities closer together

HyperOne will break down the digital divide between Australia’s major cities and its isolated communities and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations. Lack of access to high-speed, reliable digital infrastructure is a major barrier to the development of industry and jobs in regional and remote areas. By providing valuable on- and off-ramps which will expand the reach of our critical digital infrastructure, we will be opening up opportunities in and for these underserved communities.
